3 Day Ayurveda Cleansing Diet
According to Ayurveda, to feel in harmony it is necessary to do gymnastics and spiritual practices daily, perform breathing exercises and periodically go on diets and cleanse the body of all kinds of toxins and unnecessary “garbage”. This program is just designed for this – in 3 days you will not only lose a couple of extra pounds but also cleanse your body. This diet should be carried out 1 time per month, and on other days, adhere to a balanced diet. It is best to make sure that the third day falls on a day off.
1st and 2nd days
These days, the body is cleansed, during the day there is rice soup and nothing more!
Diet Rice Soup
Ingredients for 1 serving:
- water 0.5 l
- rice 3 tbsp. l
- a pinch of salt
- cumin on the tip of a knife
- ginger powder on the tip of a knife
Boil water, pour rice, seasonings and cook until tender for about 30 minutes.
3rd day
Breakfast
Squeeze the juice from 2 oranges, add 35 ml of castor oil. Drink juice and wait for the intestines to work.
Dinner
Prepare the Lassi Ayurvedic yogurt drink: pour 0.5 l of mineral water into 0.5 l of natural yogurt without sugar, add a pinch of ginger powder or cinnamon. Constantly beat the mixture until the foam is formed. The lactobacilli contained in the drink will improve the digestive tract, activate peristalsis, reduce gas formation and bloating, and accelerate metabolism.
Dinner
1 portion of vegetable soup with rice: for its preparation 1 tbsp. l rice pours in cold water for 30 minutes. Cut 1/4 zucchini, 1 carrot, 1/2 small celery root into a small cube. Place a pot of rice and water on the stove. When the water boils, add vegetables, 0.5 tablespoons of cardamom, 1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger, a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle the prepared soup with chopped fresh herbs and serve.
