Usually, we think that excess weight is fat, and we completely forget that water can become its cause. Many people have problems with weight because water is retained in the body. This happens due to an excess of salt in the body. 1 g of salt in excess retains up to 100 ml of water in the body. Adhering to a diet without salt or with a small content of it, you can get rid of extra pounds, arrange the work of many organs and lose a couple of three centimeters in the waist. 

The daily salt norm for the healthy work of the body is 6 g. Salt is needed to maintain the water-salt balance: if potassium removes moisture, then sodium retains it, preventing dehydration. We get the necessary salt content from products, not even their salt. Sodium is found in vegetables, herbs, fish and seafood, seaweed. To remove excess sodium and water from the body will help dishes with a high content of magnesium, calcium, and potassium. For example, baked potatoes with a portion of fresh lettuce leaves.   • Eggs (1 chicken egg per day)
  • Meat and fish (lean beef, low-fat fish, skinless poultry)
  • Dried fruits (dried apricots, raisins, prunes)
  • Spices (dry only). Also, you can use lemon juice, garlic, vinegar
  • Nuts
  • Weak green tea
  • Coffee
  • During the salt-free diet, it is strictly prohibited:

Meat broths

  • Fried and fatty foods
  • Smoked, salted and cured meats and fish
  • Meat products
  • Fast food
  • Purchased sauces, marinades, mayonnaise
  • Salted flour products
  • Canned Vegetables and Fruits
  • Foods high in sugar (jam, watermelon, bananas, grapes, pastries)
  • Alcohol

7-day diet menu
1st day

Breakfast: green tea without sugar.
Lunch: fresh vegetable salad seasoned with vegetable or olive oil.
Dinner: steamed fish, stewed vegetables.

2nd day

Breakfast: tea with diet breadcrumbs.
Lunch: fish stew with vegetables.
Dinner: yogurt and a small slice of boiled chicken.

3rd day

Breakfast: coffee without sugar.
Lunch: fruit salad.
Dinner: stewed cabbage with boiled beef.

4th day

Breakfast: black tea without sugar.
Lunch: carrot salad with two boiled eggs.
Dinner: fruit and a glass of kefir.

5th day

Breakfast: a glass of tomato juice.
Lunch: fish soup with no added salt.
Dinner: 2 boiled potatoes with a small piece of boiled meat.

6th day

Breakfast: coffee.
Lunch: cabbage salad.
Dinner: boiled chicken and vegetables.

7th day

Breakfast: green tea without sugar.
Lunch: vegetable salad and low-fat cottage cheese.
Dinner: two boiled eggs and a salad of vegetables.
