The essence of a keto diet is to reduce the number of foods rich in carbohydrates in the diet and add fatty foods to the menu. Under conditions of carbohydrate deficiency, fats are not converted into adipose tissue but are converted into ketone bodies, which are spent on energy production. At the same time, old fat accumulations go into consumption. This is how to express weight loss occurs. During the keto diet, your body begins to generate energy almost exclusively from fats, and excess weight loss is dramatically accelerated.

If you follow a fatty diet, you need 5 meals a day, and the intervals between meals should not exceed 3-4 hours, and the last meal should be three hours before bedtime. If you want to lose weight on a keto diet, 60-70% in your diet should be fats, 20-30% proteins, and carbohydrates, not more than 50 g.

A fat diet does not make you hungry. On the contrary, appetite decreases, because you can’t eat a lot of high-calorie foods. And with this, the size of the stomach is significantly reduced. As a result, and after a diet, less food is needed to saturate. During the diet, it is recommended to drink up to 3 liters of fluid per day.

The diet of a fatty diet provides for the presence of red meat cooked in any way, poultry, rabbit, fatty fish, cheeses, fatty dairy products, green vegetables with a high content of organic fibers.

  1. Meat products: pork, lard, beef, veal, rabbit, bacon, ham, sausage, sausages, sausages.
  2. Poultry: boiled chicken, turkey, duck, goose.
  3. Fish: pink salmon, red caviar, salmon, seafood, herring, cod liver oil, tuna, eel, sprats.

Wednesday

Breakfast: 3 pancakes with sour cream, 200 ml of kefir.
Snack: fermented baked milk.
Lunch: pumpkin baked with bacon, brown bread with peanut butter, tea with cream.
Snack: sour cream.
Dinner: 3 boiled eggs.

Thursday

Breakfast: omelet of three eggs with bacon, brown bread, tea with cream.
Snack: fermented baked milk.
Lunch: salmon baked with mushrooms in a sour cream sauce, tomato, tea with cream.
Snack: sour cream.
Dinner: 2 boiled eggs, cheese, kefir.

Friday

Breakfast: 2 pancakes with meat, 200 ml of milk.
Snack: fermented baked milk.
Lunch: pasta with grilled sausage, bread, tea.
Snack: sour cream.
Dinner: fatty cottage cheese 150 g and the same amount of milk.

Saturday

Breakfast: 200 g of cottage cheese with 3 tbsp. l sour cream, tea with cream.
Snack: fermented baked milk.
Lunch: fried liver with sour cream, brown bread, and butter, cucumber.
Snack: sour cream.
Dinner: omelet of three eggs, fermented baked milk.

Sunday

Breakfast: fried cooked sausage, bread, kefir.
Snack: fermented baked milk.
Lunch: boiled beans with fried fish steak.
Snack: sour cream.
Dinner: fried pork with mushrooms and sour cream, tea.
