The daily biorhythms in the human body are significantly dependent on the rotation of the Moon around the Earth, which makes one revolution around the Earth for 28-30 days. The lunar month lasts from the new Moon to the new Moon and consists of 30 days. However, almost half of the calendar months of the year have an incomplete cycle and consists of 29 days. It is with such a period that a tremendous psychological tension is created in a person. The events of these months bring people many difficulties and trials, especially on critical days. With a 30-day calendar month, the influence of the Moon on a person manifests itself more favorably. The Moon, being 27 million times smaller than the Sun and being 374 times closer to the Earth, has a significant impact on natural phenomena and life on Earth. We constantly look at the night world through a lunar kaleidoscope. The lunar month consists of 4 phases, which are related to the position of the Moon relative to the sun. The new Moon is the combination of the Moon and the sun, and the full Moon is their opposition. There are two forms of influence of the Moon – when it grows and decreases. There are four important points of the lunar month (new Moon, full Moon, days of the first and third quarter). It should be noted that each phase of the lunar cycle lasts about a week.
The Full Moon and the new Moon are as acute as possible affect our body. In the full Moon, water “leaves” inside the cells from the intercellular space, and in the new Moon, the reverse process occurs: water moves from the cells to the tissues. Observing the lunar diet, it is possible to strengthen the processes of moving water, rinse and cleanse the body, contribute to the breakdown of fats and the removal of toxins.
A diet for the full Moon, based on fluid intake, allows you to remove excess water from the intercellular space and no longer accumulate it. It allows you to deal with fluid retention in the body. A diet for the new Moon, combining liquids and vegetables, removes water, toxins, stimulates the processes of lipolysis (fat breakdown).
Both diets can be carried out at different times. The first takes 24 hours before and 36 hours after the full Moon and new Moon, the second can last up to 6 days. This diet was developed by the president of the International Federation and the French Society of Phyto- and Aromatherapy, therapist Christian Duraffur.
Full Moon Diet:
24 hours: Starts on the eve of the full Moon, after dinner, and lasts 24 hours. The menu only has liquids. You can drink plain water (spring, boiled, mineral), freshly squeezed juices that have a diuretic effect, like water. It is better to squeeze juice from fruits and vegetables appropriate for the season. Result: lose from 250 g to 1 kg. The main thing is that this day will allow you to get rid of edema and cleanse the body.
6 days: In the three preceding fasting, and the next two days (six in total, including the fasting day), take a course of therapeutic nutrition with vegetables. On the first day, eat only raw and boiled vegetables. In the next two days, as well as two days after fasting, eat only pineapples and mushrooms (you need to eat four times a day). Pineapples have a diuretic effect and prevent the absorption of fats in the intestines. Mushrooms should be eaten boiled, with spices or a small amount of unrefined olive oil (first cold-pressed). Mushrooms contain few calories, moreover protein calories that nourish the muscles. Attention: such a diet should not last longer than six days (including the day of fasting), it can be limited to three days. For example, a day of raw and boiled vegetables, then a day of fasting and a day of the pineapple-mushroom diet. You can do just one day – before or after fasting.
Result: effective body cleansing and weight loss of 1-3 kg, depending on the duration of the diet. “
36 hours: This diet should begin at 18 o’clock on the eve of the new Moon and lasts until 6-7 o’clock in the morning of the next day. On the menu are vegetable soups and vegetable broths of your choice (you can do both) 4-5 times a day. Soup can be prepared from your favorite vegetables (carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, beans, roots). Vegetable broths are valuable for their diuretic properties, but to avoid monotony, you can treat yourself to poultry, meat, or fish broth once a day. Vegetable soups and broths supply the body with minerals. For a more practical effect on weight, it is better to limit yourself to broths, but soups contain fiber, which dulls the feeling of hunger.
Result: intensive body washing and weight loss by about 500 g. If you use only vegetable broths, then by 1 kg.
6 days. Three days preceding the new Moon, and the next two following it, you eat exclusively raw and boiled vegetables. But keep in mind that, as with the full Moon, you adapt the diet to your needs. No need to turn a diet into torture. The only limitation: the diet should not last longer than 6 days.
Result: 1-3 kg weight loss, depending on the duration.
