Office Diet: How to Eat at Work?

When we decide to go on a diet, we face one important question – how to eat at work. Is there such a diet that can be observed at work? The answer is yes – there is the so-called office diet. It’s easy to sit on it because you can take all the products to work with you, and it’s a pleasure to cook at home.

Agree, few of us eat right at work. We usually have a bite while sitting directly behind the monitor, while managing to print, talk on the phone or read the correspondence received. All these factors hurt the functioning of the digestive glands, the production of gastric juice. As a result, we chew food poorly, swallow it in large pieces, which leads to poor absorption of food and in the end can lead to the development of gastritis. To avoid this, try to eat in a specially designated place. If this is not possible, try to abstract yourself from all affairs for lunch time.

Our diet is designed for two weeks, during which time you can lose up to 5 kg. Allowed products for the office diet: buckwheat, fish, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, chicken. In the first week, you follow the exact instructions and eat only certain foods that are allowed on that day on certain days. In the second week, the days alternate. Since the diet is low-carb, people with kidney disease should better discard it. 

First week of office diet

Monday Tuesday

Boil 2 cups of buckwheat in water without adding salt and sugar. Divide into five equal meals and eat throughout the day. Between the main meals, take a snack in the form of citrus fruits – at one meal it is allowed to eat 1/2 orange or grapefruit.

Drink green tea, coffee without sugar, plain water – up to 1.5 liters.

Wednesday

Boil 1 kg of low-fat white fish with herbs and roots, but without the addition of salt. Divide into five equal doses and eat throughout the day, flavoring fish with lemon juice.

Thursday

Thursday is a vegetable day, you can use any vegetables except potatoes boiled, stewed or baked without salt, but seasoned with herbs and spices.

Drink green tea, coffee without sugar, plain water – up to 2 liters.

Friday

Friday is a sour-milk day. Allowed all types of dairy products of low fat content, including cottage cheese and yogurt.

Saturday

On the sixth day, all fruits are allowed except bananas and grapes. Eat fruit every three hours.

Sunday

Cook yourself a chicken on Sunday. To do this, it should be boiled, the skin and excess fat removed. Divide it into 5 equal parts and eat during the day. Together with chicken, you can eat cucumbers and apples, but not more than 2-3 pcs.

Drink green tea, coffee without sugar, plain water – up to 2 liters.

The second week of the office diet

Now you know the whole diet menu, so in the second week you can stick to it, or alternate days as you like.
