In this case, the kvass should be slightly acidic. Sweet kvass is prepared for drinking. There are 2 ways to make kvass: with yeast and sourdough. To make the drink carbonated, raisins are added to it. And to give an original and piquant taste, you can put beets, elderberries, mint, honey or pour birch sap into it. The simplest recipe for making this drink is kvass from bread. In this case, you only need brown bread, yeast, and sugar.

Kvass is rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains a large number of B vitamins, which help relieve fatigue and stress. The drink has a positive effect on the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract and retains moisture in the body.
