We prepare the necessary products for cooking. Pour ½ cup of broth into a small saucepan, add butter and salt to taste and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a minimum and, stirring constantly, introduce flour into the broth. Continue to mix until the dough begins to lag behind the walls of the pan. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add the egg and chopped greens to the dough.
Dip the dumplings into the boiling broth. As soon as the dumplings float to the surface, remove the pan from the heat. Pour the broth into plates, sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve. Bon Appetit!
