Caesar salad with chicken was not named in honor of the Roman commander, as many might think, but in honor of Caesar Cardini, a famous restaurateur who came up with the recipe for this miracle salad. Suddenly, the guests arrived and made the restaurateur create a dish from the ingredients at hand: eggs, cheese, lettuce, bread and sauce. After a while, tomatoes, anchovies and other favorite additives began to be added to the salad. We will cook Caesar salad with chicken according to the classic recipe.

First, prepare the crackers. To do this, take a loaf and peel. Cut the crumb into small cubes.

For the zest of crackers, we’ll prepare the garlic butter. To do this, pass 1 clove of garlic through a crush or just crush with the flat side of a knife. Pour the garlic with olive oil (2-3 tablespoons) and put in the microwave for half a minute. So the aromatic substances of garlic will quickly turn into oil.

We spread the sliced loaf on a baking sheet, sprinkle with garlic oil and mix gently so that the oil is evenly distributed over each piece. We put the baking sheet in the oven, heated to 160 degrees, and dry the bread. Cook crackers for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

Now let's do the sauce. Hard-boiled eggs, cool and separate the yolks.

Finely chop the garlic, then grind it with mustard and boiled egg yolks until smooth. Add lemon juice, a pinch of salt. Add olive oil (100 ml) in portions, without ceasing to mix the mass. Leave the gas station for a while.

Rinse the chicken fillet thoroughly and cut into thin slices.

We make a salad. We wash the lettuce leaves, dry and dig into pieces. Spread lettuce on the bottom of the dish. This is the first layer.
Now the turn for chicken and crackers is the second layer.
A third layer of grated Parmesan cheese.
The final stage - fill the salad dressing.
Decorate the finished Caesar salad with cherry tomatoes cut into quarters.
