Options for the preparation of salad “Herring under a fur coat” weight. Someone likes the classic version, where only boiled vegetables (potatoes, carrots, beets) and herring are used, while someone adds a layer of boiled eggs and cheese. There are more “exotic” recipes for this salad. For example, apples, pomegranate seeds, slices of avocado and even pineapple can be used in a herring under a fur coat. And each of the verses of salads turns out incredibly tasty. But no matter what recipe you use, the principle of preparing the salad “Herring under a fur coat” is the same: all the crushed products are laid out in layers and smeared with mayonnaise. The only difference is the first layer. In the classic recipe, the herring is laid out as the first layer. But, also, often the “pillow” is boiled potatoes. But the final layer is always beets. We will consider just the classic version of herring under a fur coat.

Wash vegetables thoroughly and put them on fire. Cook them in their uniforms until cooked, and then cool.

We clean herring from the head, tail, fins, peels and large bones. We cut into small squares.
