Directions
Saint-Maur de Touraine is a soft cheese native to Francia, it has the original shape of a small log. In the center of such a “log” is always placed a rye straw, it is considered the “calling card” of this cheese. The pulp of this product has a curd texture and a salty-sour taste. Such cheese is distinguished by a combination of aromas of mushrooms, walnuts and goat milk. Depending on when the cheese “ripened”, its texture and taste may change. Cheese is often served as an aperitif or after a meal as an appetizer. It is used in the preparation of salads, sauces, various hot dishes. Very tasty in combination with tomatoes, olive oil, and fruits.
