Variety of calories Martin Katana diet
This diet was developed in the 80s by Martin Katana. Martin himself was able to lose weight thanks to his system of 31 kg. This method is a constant change in the number of calories in a daily diet. Whatever diet you are on, over time the body gets used to it and begins to save calories. And if you periodically change the number of calories consumed – the metabolism in the body does not slow down – weight loss continues. The main condition of the diet is to eat less fat as possible!
The diet consists of three cycles. Women in the first week are limited to 600 kcal (the first 3 days) or 900 kcal (the next 4 days), then a week with a daily norm of 1200 kcal, and then again a week with 600 or 900 kcal. Men receive 1200/1500 kcal per day during the first and third weeks and 1800 kcal in the second week. Then you eat normally for a week, and then, if necessary, return to the diet again. The diet itself is very low in calories, with limited portions and low-fat content. After that, you can return to your usual diet, but the weight, as after regular diets, will no longer increase so rapidly. Effect: if you do NOT play sports – 3-7 kg in 3 weeks, with 40 minutes of physical exercise – 8-9 kg / 3 weeks!
The result remains for a long time, the diet can be repeated if necessary. The diet is not easily tolerated (especially the first 3 days), if you completely eliminate fats, it can adversely affect the condition of the skin. Therefore, it is not necessary to completely exclude fats, just reduce their use to a minimum!
Approximate daily menu (for women, 600 kcal:
Breakfast: half a banana, 28 grams of fiber-rich cereal flakes, 225 ml of skim milk.
Lunch: 110 g fat-free cottage cheese, celery, cucumber, salad, a slice of bread with bran.
Dinner: boiled fish, broccoli, carrots, half grapefruit.
Drinking: 8 glasses of water, 2 cups of coffee or tea, herbal tea.
